On Sunday, 06.05.2016 at the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Gorzkowice was organized The Point Medical. This is the fourth such event connected with realization of programme for the prevention of cardiovascular disease, “Your Heart Your Life.”
More than 150 people take advantage from the free measurement of blood pressure, saturation of oxygen in the bloodstream, cholesterol and blood glucose and from that group of people more than 120 consulted the specialist cardiologist.
Like in cases of other Medical Point arranged in the project, the medical advice usually concerned in having to change nutritional habits and, in some cases, people in addition to the recommendations for the lifestyle changes received indication for further treatment.
The Medical Points are becoming more and more popular with residents of our county.
The next closest events with The Medical Points will be organized in parishes in Mierzyna – 12.06.2016 and 06.19.2016 Łęki Szlacheckie.
