On Sunday, 18.09.2016 during the celebration of the County Harvest Festival in Wolbórz for the sixth time ‘Health Zone‘ was organized within the program of prevention of cardiovascular disease, ‘Your Heart Your Life’.
For residents of the Piotrkow Trybunalski county in the Health Zone waited many attractions i.e.: sports competitions for children and adults with attractive prizes in the form of bicycles, food processor, balls and shirts. Sports competitions led the Polish strongman. One of the best Polish athletes. Champion Central Europe Strongman Pairs, 2007 – Tyberiusz Kowalczyk. For children there were animations and a playground where they can safely and actively spend time during the whole action.
Adults have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice of: cardiologist, nutritionist and physiotherapist and the implementation of preventive testing e.i .: cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure measurement. As always, County Health Zone attracted great interest among people taking part in County Harvest Festival. Despite not so good weather there were a lot of Piotrków residents taking advantage of the attractions, advice or medical studies.
We estimate that the event was attended by about 1 500 people, while the offer of Health Zones have benefited more than 300 children, youth and adults.
The end of so actively spent Sunday afternoon, could not lack with artistic experiences. As the star and main attraction of the event occurred band Bayer Full.
The concert of Bayer Full and all attractions within the ‘HEALTH ZONE’ were available FREE OF CHARGE.
The activities of the project ‘Your Heart Your Life’ performed by the Piotrków Trybunalski District Office are funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 and the state budget under the Programme PL13 Reducing Social Inequalities in Health.
