For the fourth time, thanks to the project of prevention of cardiovascular disease, ‘Your Heart Your Life’, the residents of the Piotrków Trybunalski county can actively and healthily spend a Sunday afternoon. The occasion for this was the Family Feast organized on August 14, 2016 in Łęki Szlacheckie.
The Feast was attended by over 1 500 people.
In addition to the numerous spectators of the local community, which is very actively involved in the organization are promoting a healthy lifestyle, the event was also attended by representatives of local government: Joózef Korpas member of the Board of the Piotrków Trybunalski County Office, treasurer of the Piotrków Trybunalski County Office Janusz Misztela and councilors of the Piotrków Trybunalski County – Grażyna Lasek, Halina Derach and Mariusz Stobiecki.
For residents of the Piotrkow Trybunalski county in the Health Zone waited many attractions i.e.: sports competitions for children and adults with attractive prizes in the form of bicycles, food processor, balls and shirts. Sports competitions led the Polish strongman. One of the best Polish athletes. Champion Central Europe Strongman Pairs, 2007 – Tyberiusz Kowalczyk.
For children there were animations and a playground where they can safely and actively spend time during the whole action. All participants can view a demonstration of first aid and get personalized advice paramedics.
Adults have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice of: cardiologist, nutritionist and physiotherapist and the implementation of preventive testing e.i .: cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure measuremetn. More than 150 people benefited from medical advice and free examinations.
More than 160 people took the advantage of advice and medical examinations.
All attractions within the ‘HEALTH ZONE’ will be available FREE OF CHARGE
The activities of the project ‘Your Heart Your Life’ performed by the Piotrków Trybunalski District Office are funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 and the state budget under the Programme PL13 Reducing Social Inequalities in Health.
