At the Parish. St. Nicholas Mierzyn was organized the fifth Medical Point. Each time the events are held within the program of prevention of cardiovascular disease ‘Your Heart Your Life’.
More than 100 people take advantage from the free measurement of blood pressure, saturation of oxygen in the bloodstream, cholesterol and blood glucose and from that group of people more than 90 consulted the specialist cardiologist.
The medical advice usually concerned in having to change nutritional habits and, in some cases, people in addition to the recommendations for the lifestyle changes received indication for further treatment.
In addition, all those who took part in the study received the brochure about the activities which are conducted in the community Rozprza Project ‘Your Heart Your Life’.
Like before medical point enjoyed great interest of the residents of our county.
The next closest events with The Medical Points will be organized in parishes in Łęki Szlacheckie – 19.06.2016 and 26.06.2016 in Sulejów.

We inform that participation in all activities organized within the project ” Your Heart Your Life” is free thanks to funding from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 and the state budget under the Programme PL13 Reducing Social Inequalities in Health.
